  • Upon request, we provide quotes for required part replacements per the Manitoba Fire Code after completing our inspections and tests.

Annual Inspections
Our Services include;

  • Visual Inspection: Checking for proper installation, secure mounting, and correct placement of all lights.
  • Battery and Power Supply Check: Ensure that the battery voltage and power supplies are in good condition. Verify that the battery charge indicators are functioning and that the batteries are holding charge. Look for any obvious signs of deterioration. Replace any batteries that are worn or expired.
  • Wiring Check: Inspect all wiring for wear or damage and confirm that connections are secure.
  • Operational Test: Activate the emergency lights and perform a full test of the emergency lighting for its required duration, to verify battery capacity and backup power can sustain the lighting output for the required time.
  • Documentation: Upon completion, a detailed report will be issued as proof of compliance, including findings, repairs completed during inspection, recommendations and any outstanding deficiencies requiring action to meet code requirements.


Monthly Inspections

  • Operational Test: Activate the emergency lights to confirm they function when the power is off, ensuring they are connected to the emergency power source. Inspect all bulbs, running man and or exit sign to ensure they illuminate and function properly,
  • Battery and Power Supply Check: Verify that batteries are charged and in good condition, ensuring no signs of corrosion or wear.
  • Documentation: Record inspection results, noting any deficiencies or issues.
